چکیده

Abstract Sand production is the most common problem after hydraulic fracturing treatment. This particular prominent in sandstone reservoirs. For Jinqiu gas reservoir of Sichuan Basin China, average sand 103 tons, and rate 2.36% through statistics 12 wells. The will seriously damage downhole equipment as well ground facilities. In this study, based on analysis source, it clear that mainly 70/140 mesh flowback order to control proppant flowback, fibers length about 3 mm, 6 9 mm are selected for experimental study. A series laboratory evaluations designed quantify effectiveness control, so explore mechanisms behind optimizing their properties a chosen reservoir. key fiber include dispersion performance, microstructure, influence transport fracture, fracture conductivity, critical flowrate. with different lengths concentrations slickwater good, can form net-like structure reinforces pack, 40/70 resin-coated sand, increase concentration, distance flowrate increase, but conductivity decreases. field test carried out type dosage optimized by indoor experiment. systematic evaluation shows plays significant role control. findings study help better understanding source countermeasure research tight

Production Analysis of Tight Sandstone Reservoir in Consideration of Stress-Sensitive Permeability

Received: August 22, 2016 Revised: February 07, 2017 Accepted: March 10, 2017 Abstract: Background: Tight sandstone reservoirs play an important role in the oil industry. The permeability of tight sandstone reservoir generally has stronger stress sensitivity than that of conventional reservoir because of the latter’s poor physical properties. However, the production analysis of tight sandstone ...

Energy Analysis of Hydraulic Fracturing

In this paper, numerical simulations of circular boreholes under internal hydraulic pressure are carried out to investigate the energy transferred to the surrounding rock and the breakdown pressure. The simulations are conducted by using a micromechanical continuum damage model proposed by Golshani et al. (2006). The simulation results suggest that the borehole breakdown pressure and the energy...

Analysis of Hydraulic Fracturing and Reservoir Performance in Enhanced Geothermal Systems

Analyses of fracturing and thermal performance of fractured reservoirs in engineered geothermal system (EGS) are extended from a depth of 5 km to 10 km, and models for flow and heat transfer in EGS are improved. Effects of the geofluid flow direction choice, distance between fractures, fracture width, permeability, radius, and number of fractures, on reservoir heat drawdown time are computed. T...
